Mastering

Mastering is a form of audio post-production. It is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device, the master, from which all copies will be produced.

Mastering is the final stage of the production process and the last opportunity to check, correct and enhance your music before it’s released to the market.

Mastering requires critical listening and it involves technical knowledge as well as specific aesthetics. Results still depend upon the accuracy of speaker monitors and the listening environment. Mastering engineers may need to polish the mixed sound with equalisation, compression and other outboard processing, in order to get the best possible sound and optimise sound translation on all playback systems.

At Ten Productions, we have a Mastering Room equipped with Class A mastering tools and a PMC speakers system powered with Bryston amplifiers, that ensures the best listening environment. All of this at a very competitive price: 70€ per track.

Recently, we have incorporated the new Mastered for iTunes system, that let us to get the best sound for iTunes releases.
